Why I bought : I ran out of my daily sunscreen. I love Paula's Choice Skin Recovery Antioxidant serum so I think I try Paula's Choice sunscreen which contain antioxidants ingredients .

Benefits :

Cautions : It is not very water-resistant so it is not for swimming.

Satisfaction : 90% It is very light-weight so it is great especially when staying in hot climate area.

Re-purchase : 50 % I would like to buy again. However, I would like to try other sunscreen first before.

Why I bought : Last Winter, my sister bought me the full size of H2O Hydrating Body butter because she love this body butter very much. My skin was flaky and dry

Benefits :

• The texture is rich but lightweight at the same time. The body butter moisturizes my skin very well without leaving sticky residue.
• Hydrating Body Butter is also recommended during pregnancy to prevent stretch marks.

Application :

• Apply to your body. I apply it on my skin once a day after shower.
  

Cautions : -

Satisfaction : 95% I love this product because it moisturizes my skin and my skin can absorb the butter very quickly. My skin was extremely dry before using this body butter. My skin became a lot softer and smoother after 3 days. This full size is enough for 2 months (apply once a day.)

Re-purchase : 85 % I will buy this H2O hydrating body butter when winter comes. I think it is a little bit pricey.

Why I bought : I walked by L'Occitanne Boutique and saw this citrus line displaying as featured items so I tried this body cream on the back of my hand. I was looking for body moisturizer for Summer. My skin absorbed the cream very quick and the texture is not sticky at all. Thus, I decided to try.

Benefits :

• Nice citrus smell. The smell is very refreshing. The texture of this Citrus Verbena Sorbet Body Cream is quite thin suitable for Summer weather.

Cautions : -

Satisfaction : 60% I love the smell and the thin texture. However, my skin is normally very dry and it does not moisturize my skin enough.

Re-purchase : 20 % I will buy this as a gift. It is suitable for person with oily skin. My skin is very dry even in Summer so I need richer body cream.

Why I bought : I saw my friend wore this color. So I tried it on me. This color is definitely great for chic look.

Benefits :

• Super long lasting waterproof and non-smudge eyeliner. Bright teal with gold pearl - gorgeous color!

Cautions : Very hard to wipe it off. Not all eye makeup remover can remove this eye liner. The texture is quite thick so it is quite difficult to make a crisp line.

Satisfaction : 90% I absolutely love this color.

Re-purchase : 70 % I will definitely buy again. However, it will be a long time until this one is empty because this is not the color for everyday use.

Why I bought : Since my skin was usually very dry, I needed to buy serum that not only nourished but also moisturized my skin. I was also looking for something to pamper my skin after exposing to sunlight. I have been interested in trying Paula's Choice for a long time so I decided to give it a try.

Benefits :

• Antioxidant concentrate helps prevent skin damage caused by free radicals.
• It is silicone base so easy to apply. It is not greasy so it works beautifully under makeup. At first, I thought it was oily, it was actually absorbed by my skin very quick. More importantly, my skin became very soft the next day after using for the first time. I was very impressed.
  
• I can apply it around my eyes. Great!

Application :

• Night - Apply a few drops onto skin after cleansing, toning (optional), and exfoliating. For me, I applied after toner and before moisturizer.
• Day - wear under a product with SPF 15 or greater. For me, I apply this serum before daily moisturizer followed by sunscreen and makeup.
• It is suitable for use around the eyes

Cautions : N/A

Satisfaction : 90% I am very happy with the result. My skin is very very soft and moisturized. However, I give 90% because the silicone texture is great but not my favorite texture.
Re-purchase : 80 % I will definitely buy again when winter comes.

Review : DHC White Screen SPF 25 PA+++

This DHC face sunscreen is one of DHC product I like the most. First of all, it’s a physical sunscreen, containing zinc oxide and titanium oxide which is suitable for sensitive skin. For sure, it protects your skin from UVA / UVB rays.

Secondly, it contains alpha-Arbutin, which is known as Whitening substance. Although the amount of alpha-Arbutin is not that much to really help whiten skin but it does make your skin look a little brighter and clearer when used every day.

It is also not greasy at all. Its fluid texture makes it easier to spread all over the face without rubbing and it absorbs quickly. Besides, it’s also like skin treatment, containing olive virgin oil, as DHC symbol, Vitamin E, Olive leave extract and aloe leaf extract, which is good because it helps keep skin hydrated and moisturized.

However, this sunscreen can leave white residue on your skin. DHC recommends that you use small amount to prevent this problem but for me, I don’t think using small amount of sunscreen can protect your skin effectively from sun damage. So, we’d better apply generous amount on your face.

It helps brighten my face as well. I’ve figured out how to reduce this white residue problem by applying foundation or powder in darker shade so that my whole face doesn’t look too white.

This sunscreen is a water-resistant type so it is recommended to use oil base cleanser. Actually I think cream base cleanser or some kind of water base cleanser (make up remover) is also fine.

Another thing I like about this product is that the package is small but very economical in use (even I apply generous amount every day). This one I use for more than 6 months.

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil Review

I have been using DHC Deep Cleansing Oil for over a year. I think it is time I share all the good things why I this makeup remover is a must have item for my bathroom cabinet. DHC is a skincare company from Japan. It started with just three beauty products. Since then, the company has developed not only beauty products but also and health products. It has now expanded their market worldwide.

In the past, I used Cleansing Oil from Shu Uemura. I did also tried Fancl and RMK that my sister bought. They are all excellent. When I went to Japan and I saw DHC shop in Shibuya area, I could not help but walked in there. My sister told me that DHC products are suppose to be cheaper in Japan so I was thinking to give it a try. And, the result was incredible!

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil is olive oil base and it doesn't has fragrance so the smell is not comparable with other brands. Personally, the smell and the color gives me the image of natural product to me. Although, the texture of DHC Deep Cleansing Oil is thicker than other brands, it dissolves my makeup easily and quickly. It cleans up all types of dirt, makeup, and even waterproof black eyeliner and mascara. Compared to Shu Uemura, I think DHC wash off the waterproof makeup easier. In addition, it does not leave any greasy residues on my face.

I am surprised the prices in US are not huge different than the prices in Asia. The price of DHC deep cleansing oil is affordable. For example, you will get 6.7 fl. oz at US$ 25.00
